Sock Puppets & Voodoo Dolls
We offer a variety of enrichment opportunities for kids and adults. These can be individual or small group experiences. The best option is to contact us so we can design a plan that suits your child or a small group.
Some possibilities include :
- Help with a school project (YES, I love projects!!) -This could include research, field work, planning out the time from start to finish, pulling it all together....
- Homesteading Skills- butter making, candle making, quilting, making your own clay cup or bowl, make your own tea,...
- Working with clay (cups, bowls, tiles, animals,...)
- Nature Journals (making and using)
- Painting
- Weaving
- Knitting
- Gardening
- Nature Exploration....tree identification, wildflowers, butterflies...
- Book Clubs (Read a book together and plan a culminating event)
- Board Games. (playing some and/or creating your own board game)
- Learn about electricity....experiment with batteries, bulbs, and wires, build a circuit and install it in your own lighthouse, fairy house, or other creation!

Fun with clay!
Make a rattle ...could be a person, or an animal, or something abstract...
First we will create the basic form, then add details, bisque fire, and then return for glazing and a final firing. .Finished work will be available for pickup after the final firing.

Play with Clay for Grownups!
Hand building class for adults. We will explore creating with clay using pinch, coil, and slab techniques. You can make functional items such as mugs, bowls, trays, or boxes...or make a sculpture....or combine the two and make an ugly mug or rattle!
First we will create the basic form, then add details, bisque fire, and then return for glazing and a final firing. .Finished work will be available for pickup after the final firing. Cost is donation based to cover the cost of materials. Don't let $ stop you from having fun as an adult!
